The Haiku Project Series was an experimental project attempting to incorporate haiku poems with visual art. Haikus; with their minimal 17-syllable structure, can be thought as a unique springboard for collaboration in different mediums.
In this mini-series, the artist writes three haikus in Japanese which are then collaged with a visual art component that is inspired by the tone of the poems. The writing of the haikus as part of the visual pieces also explore how letters and fonts play a role in visual storytelling.
