Laundry Day, 2023

Laundry Day is an outdoor installation with a performance component. Each large-scale undergarment piece was hand-sewn by the artist from an assortment of used fabrics.

On December 8th 2023, all of the undergarments were tied and hung on a clothing line in the middle of a public quad in Williamstown, MA. The performance of “hanging laundry” began at 6am when dawn broke, and lasted for about 3 hours.
