Buttoned Shirt, 2024

Repurposed fabrics, buttons

Buttoned Shirt is a durational performance piece with a sculptural component. From September 21st to November 21st of 2024, the artist sewed three buttons onto a button-up shirt every single day, adding on fabric as needed. At the end of the duration, the artist wore the shirt and had her friend unbutton every button.
