Crane, 2024

Paper on grass

Crane is a performance piece with a sculptural component. The piece was performed on November 20th 2024, using a public quad in Williamstown, MA. The performance began with a 20 x 20ft piece of white paper, which was folded into a paper crane by the artist over the duration of 30 minutes.

In Japanese culture, paper cranes symbolize a wish for peace and resilience.
