Riku Nakano

About

Riku Nakano (2002) is a Japanese visual artist based in Williamstown, MA and Tokyo, Japan.

Her work explores themes of labor and intimacy through multimedia sculpture, installation, and some works on paper. Recent works use public spaces and landscapes to activate sculptures, as well as incorporating performance and collaboration to present her work.

Riku currently studies Studio Art and Environmental Studies at Williams College, and will receive her Bachelor’s degree in June 2025.
